Happy Birthday Wilson

I wanted to wish actor Wilson Cruz a very Happy Belated Birthday.  He turns 32 today (December 27th).  You will all remember how I took a step back from my prognistication that Cruz would be a terrible actor on Noah's Arc.  It turned out that not only was I wrong, but he turned out to be

the face associated to some of my favorite (and in my opinion most believable moments) on Noah's Arc.  In that post I discussed how a lot of my negative perceptions of Cruz centered on a college encounter that I had with him about ten years ago. 

In retrospect, I realize that I was being, as so many people like to say today--a hater.  I will be man enough to admit it.  And I have since apologized to Wilson Cruz.

I have a theory that I've been working on for years about men with big dicks.

Something has happened to my body lately.  While I enjoy both penetrating and receiving in anal sex, I have always claimed that I make a better top than bottom.  I have always had a knack for making men have hard orgasms when I fuck them--due to a combination of my knowledge of good body positioning, method of stroke, and nasty shit talking.

But I have always felt substandard on the getting fucked aspect.  In the past, it seemed like I always enjoyed getting the dick, more than they enjoyed my ass.  I've never been one to do stunts and tricks.  I refuse to get fucked on my stomach, I won't do headstands, and I don't try to do the Shakira belly dance hip gyration technique when I am riding someone's dick.  So for the most part, I've always considered myself a boring bottom.

The House of Negativity

It was one of the last of the Chicago days this year where the temperature was in double digits, chilly, but not bone cold.  I hopped on my car and flew down the Lake Shore--on my way to visit NEGATIVE MAN.  You remember the crazy who--after two conversations--was discussing how he and I were going to live life together.

My goal was simple.  To find out whether he had the big dick that he claimed.  It was a Saturday night, and I arrived at his apartment looking cute in my black leather jacket smelling fresh and clean.  I called his cell phone and I got no answer, so I went ahead and hit his buzzer.  He rang me up and told me to the 14th floor.  Along the way I stopped on a lower floor and changed my shirt.  I had rode my bike over and I wanted to make sure that I was wearing a crisp top.

When I got to his apartment I knocked on the door.  Fifteen seconds later the door just opened.

No-Men

Not that we have a lock on it, but gay and DL communities seem to have more than their fair share of negative, complaining men.  There are few things that I dislike more than dudes that are overly negative.  It seems today that guys are better at telling you what they don't want, as opposed to articulating what they are actually looking for.

Lazy

Softspots

Nature has a clever way of making babies' heads small enough to pass through the birth canal.  As you might know, babies have softspots, called fontanelles, that allow the bones in a baby's head to change shape and squeeze together. 

Most people think that babies' soft spots make them more vulnerable to harm, but in fact they can protect a baby from injuries like common falls.  The soft spot--which consists of a surprisingly tough fibrous membrane--can cushion and protect a baby from common falls.  It actually makes the skull function like a football helmet.

Soft spots, however, are susceptible to particular dangers.  For example, a sharp object's direct penetration will likely pierce the soft spot and create serious damage.  Luckily, however, soft spots close when we are about eighteen months old.

But as we get older, new soft spots take the place of the old.  These soft spots aren't soft layers of skin on the top of a baby's head.  They can't be detected by human touch.  But that doesn't make them anyless real, or any less vulnerable...
